Will Edit for Money (Or Cake)

It is time for me to open up my editing skills and let you pay me to fix your stuff.  Whether it's a paper you'd like checked out before you hand it in, or you're writing the next Twilight, I can help make it gramatically sound, properly structured, and, for a little extra, I'll even tell you how much it sucks.

Just kidding!  Despite my sarcasm, I am professional when it comes to my work.  I am so near completing my Bachelors Degree in English Literature that I can almost taste its sweet, sweet nectar.  I have taken numerous gramatical and academic writing courses, which makes me confident that I can spot the things in your work that you were not able to spot because, well, you wrote it.  I was also given the opportunity to be part of the editing team for Cindy C. Bennett's novel Heart on a Chain.  I earned my nickname "The Comma Nazi" working with Cindy and loved every minute of it.

Let's talk prices.  I work on a per page basis.  For any piece that is 50 pages or less, it is $1.00 per page.  If the text is more than 50 pages, each page will cost you $0.50.  I can simply edit the grammar and structure, but my opinions are free upon request.  I require half of the money up front. No work will be done until the first payment is received.  You can choose to e-mail me an electronic copy or mail a hard copy of the piece you need edited.  Selections of my favorite pieces will be featured on my blog.

Remeber that I reserve the right to not edit any work that I choose.  I will not read anything crude.  I'm a Utah girl, so please don't shock me so much I fall into a coma.  No "F" words, no excessive swearing, no descriptive sex scenes, and anything too violent will not be tolerated or edited by me.

Please let me help your work live up to its potential.  E-mail me with any questions.

Thanks!
